Sustainable Growth
as the food forest matures, generating a more abundant yield and creating a surplus of food the project is able to support more volunteers and newcomers to the land. Surplus will be reinvested back into the project which will enable the working system to organically expand over time.
EXCITING NEWS!
we are actively working with communities and Trusts in Orkney developing land. any spare, unused, disused, donated land to create the first model site
The project will help to benefit these vibrant island communities by enabling both community and individuals to become self sufficient, increasing island fresh, organic (fruit and veg) food production, stocking community shops and creating food co-operatives as well as facilitating in the development of sustainable soft energy technology, natural huts and bothy style dwellings
We are also actively engaging in reforesting the land, collaboating with local tree growing projects and we aim to work with groups such as Reforesting the UK, Reforesting Scotland’s 1000 Huts Campaign and the Orkney Woodland Programme
We are currently seeking investors and/or further land to enable the project to grow, enabling greater public access to this way of living
An investment in this project will enable investors the opportunity to

- be the forerunner of a sustainable gift economy and a new way forward
- form a positive partnership with a truely green project
after your part played in achieving world peace the project can also offer investors
